From the scenic vistas of Pozzuoli, a charming town near Naples, Italy, Pino embarked on a journey that would define his life's work and passion. Born and raised in this picturesque locale, Pino's early years were steeped in the rich culture and history of Italy, which shaped his approach to healthcare — a blend of traditional wisdom and modern innovation.
Early Career
Pino's professional voyage began in 2004 when he graduated with a Degree in Podology from the prestigious II Università di Napoli. His commitment to foot care was not just a career choice but a calling, driven by a deep-seated desire to help others. Over the years, Pino gained a wealth of experience, working at Centro Medico Chirurgico "C.M.C" in Pozzuoli. Here, he collaborated with a team of doctors, honing his skills in treating a range of foot conditions, from common issues like ingrown toenails and calluses to more specialized areas like diabetic and geriatric foot care, and Podo-Posturology.
Expanding Horizons
His expertise expanded through continued education, acquiring a Master's Specialization in Diabetic Foot Treatment and Care, and Clinical Posturology from Università Federico II di Napoli. These qualifications underscored his commitment to providing comprehensive care that considers the overall health and well-being of his patients.
A New Home in Rochester
Pino's journey took a significant turn in 2021 when he, along with his wife Stephanie, decided to bring his wealth of knowledge and expertise to Rochester, New York. This move marked a new chapter in his career, as he sought to continue his passion for podology in a new land. Pino's transition to the United States included obtaining a certification as a Podiatric Medical Assistant and a license in Nail Specialty, ensuring his practice met and exceeded the professional standards of his new home.
Collaboration & Innovation
In Autumn 2023, Pino began collaborating with Andrea Whitecomb-May at Andrea's Foot Care and Nails, further expanding his services to include pedicures based on German podology — a testament to his ongoing pursuit of knowledge and excellence in foot care.
